Fostering
Young Foundations Fostering is an independent fostering agency which provides support and placements for children and young people aged between birth and 18 who may be experiencing difficulties that prevent them from leading stable lives.
We are also able to offer emergency or short term and long term placements as well as specialist placements such as remand, respite and mother and baby placements.
Young Foundations Fostering has two offices - in the North-East of England and the North-West. Typically, the children and young people placed with our foster carers may struggle with one or more issues such as:
- behaviours that challenge
- complex needs
- emotional and behavioural disorders
- mental health problems
- learning disabilities and difficulties in school
- a history of offending
Young Foundations Fostering provides children with a structured living environment, based within the homes of skilled, trained and well-supported foster carers. We have a team of qualified and experienced social workers whose case loads are limited to make sure they are able to offer high quality support to our foster carers.
Further support from our multi-disciplinary team makes sure foster carers are providing the best possible care to children and young people placed with them to help them achieve positive outcomes.
