The Home Manager will be directly responsible and accountable in law for the care provided within the home. Their role includes ensuring that the physical and emotional needs of young people are met and are continually developed in line with the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2001.

They ensure that all staff involved in the direct care of young people are working within the company’s policies and procedures and that all staff have the appropriate levels of support and supervision. Home Managers work in partnership with professionals and agencies to monitor casework and evaluate standards of performance.
