Our homes
With a programme of expansion throughout England and Scotland, Young Foundations will continue to open new residential units in the months and years ahead. The residential homes provide a stable, calm and safe place for children and young people to progress; their make-up and environments are designed to allow for positive social interaction between young people and the staff. Our current locations are as follows:
Residential homes in and around the North East
Young Foundations have three residential units based near Darlington, Crook and Sunderland.
Residential homes in and around the Midlands
We have two new residential homes for children and young people located in the Coventry area and a further home near Worcester.
Residential homes in Scotland
Shortly to open, Young Foundations will have its first location in Scotland, near Johnstone, South West of Glasgow.
The make-up of our homes - designed with young people in mind
Each young resident has their own bedroom suitably designed and furnished - we actively encourage further personalisation with their own possessions. All of our homes have comfortable communal rooms, a classroom and gardens. The result is a residential home where young people can develop and maintain relationships, achieve personal goals and live without need for aggression and undue distress.
