Young Foundation's staff are the best in their field: in training, experience and personality. They are fully committed, enthusiastic and energetic for children and young people, providing a positive experience for all residents.

Our team consists of directly employed social workers, child psychiatrists, chartered psychologists, care staff and teachers. We do not have to rely on external agencies for the provision of specialist healthcare and education.

Young Foundations has a very strong Training and Development infrastructure which fully reflects its Investors in People accreditation. As an established City & Guilds Assessment Centre, Young Foundations provides a comprehensive range of programmes for staff of all disciplines and grades. External programmes and e-learning programmes are also used for staff professional development.

Safeguarding Children is an absolute priority for Young Foundations. Rigourous policies are supported by thorough screening of all employed staff and others who come into direct contact with the children and young people.
